"I asked my mum, Kate, to paint the landscape as she remembered it. She painted it in watercolour, capturing the colours, softness and feeling of the place in her own way. We then transformed her painting into a delicate organza print, allowing that memory to become part of the dress itself."
The dress is designed to feel almost weightless. The sheer organza floats around the body, with a softly gathered silhouette that moves beautifully as you walk. A deep, rich purple chiffon tie drapes from the neckline, bringing depth to the soft tones of the landscape.
The optional matching belt sits at the dropped hip, allowing the shape to be gently defined while preserving the fluidity of the dress. The Kate is accompanied by a separate slip dress, creating an effortless layer beneath the organza.
