The Alula Dress was inspired by the colours of AlUla, Saudi Arabia, its warm desert landscapes, rich earth tones and the dramatic skies that transform as the sun begins to set.
For this piece, we took a fabric used elsewhere throughout the collection and reimagined its intricate pattern as a delicate organza print In layers of burnt orange, deep purple and warm earthy tones, the composition feels almost like a desert sunset captured within the fabric.
The silhouette is designed to feel fluid and effortless. The organza falls gently around the body, creating movement with every step while maintaining a graceful, modest shape.
At the lower waist sits a beautifully considered belt, elasticated for comfort and finished with a zip fastening, with a long rope tassel adding a tactile, almost artisanal detail to the design.
The dress can also be worn without belt for a more free flowing relaxed shape.
The result is a dress that feels both grounded and ethereal, earthy in colour, light in movement.
